The Airplane Inside of our Brains

Writer's picture: Golden InkGolden Ink

Dear Readers,

Don't be fooled by the title, I don't mean that there is actually an airplane in our brains!

Personally, I find that any surroundings and nice environments provide as great inspiration. Since we can't really go any where because of the unfortunate circumstances (the virus), I have included five photos of beautiful places that will hopefully inspire you all or help you get a start to some poems. Here are those 5 photos of inspirational places:

1. Antwerpen-Centraal train station in Antwerp, Belgium

2. Tegallalang farming terraces in Ubud, Bali

3. Great Point Light, or Nantucket light, lighthouse on Nantucket Island

4. Iceberg off the coast of Antarctica

5. Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands

Day Twenty Seven's Progress:

Today I wrote three poems, but for some reason, they just weren't as good as I normally write. They need a lot of work. The concepts of the poem are not the best. I really don't know what to do. Maybe I will write about something else? I can't seem to find a good idea that I really like. I am sort of struggling but I am going to try my best to write something good this week. The poem I like the best out of the three is probably the one I will keep working on. Since I will share this poem with you all tomorrow here are three words to describe it since I don't want to give everything away: 1) Rain 2) Cold Footsteps 3) old and damaged car. Let's see what happens.

Any suggestions?
