Dear Readers,
Happy Wednesday! Please read today’s progress so you will understand why today’s blog post is a little different.
Day Fifty Eight’s Progress: Normally I would share a poem today, since it is Wednesday, but I wasn’t able to finish a first draft of a poem this week. Instead, I chose to reread some of the poems I wrote this summer. I haven’t read all of them, but I plan on reading the rest on Thursday and Friday. Rereading the poems that I have written gives me a great satisfaction that cannot be measured. It feels like such an accomplishment to have written a piece of art, but at the same time I feel like a lot can be improved in all of my poems! I realized that some parts of different poems needed some editing. I finished reading and making small changes to the first five poems I wrote this summer; Ghastly Grim, Captivating, Fallen Leaf, Hiker’s Trail, and Cliffside Wonders.
Do you all have a favorite?
