Dear Readers,
It's almost Friday!
Today I wanted to add a little bit more concerning Ekphrastic poetry. You can also think of ekphrastic as a warmup or an exercise to get your mind working. If you write poem based off art, you do not need to mention the art that you wrote about if you do not want to. Sometimes you also have writer’s block because you are criticizing yourself too much. Instead, try to just write anything then revisit it later. It’s much better to write something, instead of writing nothing.
Day Twenty Four's Progress:
Today I added two more stanzas to the poem. I am still debating whether I should keep them or not since they do not exactly make sense since the subject is a house. I am still not so sure what to do with those stanzas. I also played a little bit with the order of the stanzas. I moved around some of them. Lastly, I tried to make the poem look like a cliff again but that did not really work. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
Hope you found today blog post useful!
