Dear Readers,
Wednesday has finally knocked on our doors! As you all probably know, I will share the poem that I have been working today.
Day Thirteen's Progress:
Today I arranged all of the lines I wrote yesterday, and I took out many of them too. My poem has turned out very short so maybe tomorrow I will add some more lines or verses. So far I am pretty happy with this week’s poem but I think it lacks something. I don't know what that is though. I think I will just try to add some more to it tomorrow and go from there. There is one thing that I am really not sure of. In both the third and fourth stanzas, I repeat the line "new beginning". I don’t exactly know if I should keep that as repetition. Let me know what you guys think. So far, here is what I have written:
Fallen Leaf
Autumn,
Dazzling sight
Time-bound sparks
As the orange spark simmers down,
A new one takes its place
Nesting in the endless trees.
Fallen leaf, driving away.
An old story crashed
Into a new beginning.
The start of a melodious song,
The rebirth of chance,
A new beginning,
Fallen leaf.
Hope you enjoyed my poem. Where are you guys in the challenge?
