E for Experience

Dear Readers,

Happy Tuesday! The weekend might be far, but "Happy Tuesday" sounds much better than "Happy Monday"!

Since it is Tuesday, I will write about another trick to find inspiration and eventually write a poem. Today's suggestion is really quite simple. When I feel like I need some inspiration, I like to write down a list of pleasant experiences and another list of horrible experiences I've had. You can definitely write some lists of experiences you've never had too. This provides as inspiration for me to write a poem about my personal experiences. If I don't feel very connected to the poem, maybe it will lead to something else like an important memory that I can write about instead. If you think that you haven't had enough experiences to write about then go outside (I know it sounds cliché, but it helps), try some new things, or maybe attempt to create a nice experience for yourself. If that really doesn't work then you can just curate a list of experiences you want to or don't want to have, then write about that.

Day Twelve's Progress:

Today I wrote a lot and it felt very good. Not all of verses and lines were very good though. I don't exactly know why, but I wrote a lot of lines then chose not to reread them. I actually wanted to make this poem not too long and with very short lines to sort of create the effect that there are few words that compose a very meaningful poem. I don't really know how this poem is going to shape itself and if I should set some boundaries to the composition of it. I guess I'll see.

I hope you guys got a chance to write a lot today too!
