Dear Readers,

Captivating as a title really captivates an audience, doesn't it? It makes you want to read my blog post since you might think that there is something interesting or captivating in this post. Well, this is not at all why I named this blog posts captivating. I named it this way because as you all know, today is Wednesday, the day to share my poem with you guys (Captivating is the title of my new poem)!

Day Eight's Progress:

Today I added a few more lines to my poem and a took a few lines off too. I also played a bit with the order of the lines. I am not finished with this poem yet. I will keep editing it and modifying it tomorow and ghe day after to improve it. I would be very grateful if maybe you guys could give me some feedback or suggestions. Let me know what you think (especially of

Captivating

I sat in my hammock,

Looking at reflections.

From the pool to the trees,

From the sky to my own two hands.

I listened to quiet classical music,

Half reading an easy book.

My mind couldn't help but wander

And think of the gentle tunes

That danced in the air.

Each note brought me

Into a meditative state, like a curious title

Luring me in to read it's book.

And now, I'm finally awake

Thinking of the sensations beyond compare,

Trying to hold on to her soft hand,

Until it finally ends.

No time to look at nearby bees

or faraway trees, in the presence

Of such calming beauty.

I hope you liked this poem!
