A Creative Calling

Dear Readers,

This week is almost coming to an end. Hang in there!

Today I will address two important suggestions that will really help you all (hopefully) if you guys are ever dealing with writer's block. The first point I want to make is that a clean work space will welcome more ideas and writing impulses, rather than a cluttered room or work area. I like to clean my work area twice a week or sometimes even more, just to make sure that it is very organized and clean. This is extremely help full because I don't want to sit down and write but then start thinking of the mess that is around me. Unless of course, you want to write something about a messy room. The second suggestion is that you explore some different creative hobbies or projects. If you feel like you can't write ANYTHING, then it is very helpful to pick up another type of creative project for a few days, then get back to writing. Maybe this time you will have a bunch of creative flow! Some creative hobbies/projects include; gardening, painting, cooking, and much more. You can also explore photography, embroidery, and so on.

Day Fourteen's Progress:

I reread my poem several times today and finally decided that it was finished. I could toy with it for years really but I chose to end it. I am quite happy with how it came out. Next time I try to write about a bigger topic, maybe I will try to write more verses and make it a little dense. We'll see. It might sound like I didn't do much today, but I read my poem so many times that it felt like I was having a never ending staring contest (in which I blinked several hundred times).

Hope you all found today's blog post informative!
